Dear Parents/Guardians,
Happy Sunday!
I hope everyone is enjoying the snow and the kids get some time to play outside a little bit!
We are entering our last full week of school before we break for Christmas and we have many things planned, so please check your teacher’s websites for the most up to date information.
We started last week celebrating mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was a wonderful turnout as always and I truly enjoy hearing all of the school community participating in song and the mass itself. Our vocal ensemble had their performance as well and I hope you enjoyed all the fruits of their labor. Thank you to our Music teacher, Mrs. Calicchio, for all the work you put into these clubs and performances. Lastly, our 2nd graders attended the Count Basie performance of “The Nutcracker” and they too were able to enjoy this holiday tradition.
This week we have our Christmas Play and our Polar Express/ Fall Pep Rally. I know the students look forward to these special treats the school and the PTA provide. An instant alert will be forthcoming with the details of both. As a reminder, grades PreK to 3rd participate in wearing their pajamas on this day and our 4th through 8th can wear their team uniform or school spirit wear.
