I wanted to take this time to address a few changes that are in the process of being made within our Food Service Department. Due to the current manufacturing and shipping issues we are facing throughout the country, our suppliers have informed us that they can no longer guarantee specific delivery dates or delivery of all products we request. In order to make sure we are able to fulfill student’s lunch orders, we will only be posting weekly menus – this will allow us to have better control of what we are able to offer. Menus will be posted every Friday for the following week. Starting Friday, October 15 th you can check for them on the SLG website, Facebook Page, Instagram as well as the cafeteria’s new Instagram page…SLGLIONS_CAFE. We will continue to do our best to provide different options however appreciate your patience with any changes that may occur.

Please let your students know they are always welcome to see the cafeteria staff if they have any questions, forget their lunch or have a problem with their order.

Welcome back to our Students, Faculty and Staff! It is so good to see everyone back in school and working up an appetite! We have been working hard over the summer making necessary changes in the cafeteria so we may continue to provide healthy, nutritious and delicious lunch options to the students. Yes, there are some big changes. For some, lunch will be served in the classroom. For others, lunch will be served in the cafeteria. Everyone will continue to have access to everything the cafeteria has to offer. The “where” we eat may have changed, but the “what” has not. We will continue to offer homemade soups and sauces, fresh fruits and veggies along with quality brands such as Boar’s Head and Tyson. Our goal is to provide our students with a tasty lunch that will enable all students to concentrate, participate, and learn to their full potential!
We have moved to an all a la carte format for our online ordering. There are no sales in the cafeteria so students will not be able to buy items if they did not order. There is no minimum for ordering online, so, whether you need a full lunch or just a drink or snack…no worries, you can order and it will be delivered directly to them in their classroom or cafeteria. As part of our commitment to maintain the health and safety of our students, all orders are prepared and packaged individually and include prewrapped utensils and condiments. Everything they need to enjoy their lunch – safely!
Please refer to the preorder menu calendar to see what items are offered each day. Choices may change daily based on availability. Please note, orders will need to be placed no later than the night before by 11:59 PM.
Our online service provider remains My School Account. Please visit www.myschoolaccount.com to create an account if your student does not already have one. Students accounts can be funded and reviewed as well as preorders placed through this service. Accounts can also be funded via check or cash. If you do choose to send check/cash in with a student, please have it in an envelope with the student name and it will be forwarded to the cafeteria.
