Dear Parents/Guardians,
Happy Sunday!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend, and your children enjoyed the extended weekend!
Last week our PreK and kindergarten students had a visit from the Middletown Fire Department. They were so excited to hear about what it’s like to be a fireman and enjoyed seeing the fire truck up close and personal! On Thursday night our 7th and 8th grade students had their Fall Dance. It was a wonderful turnout, and the students had a great time! We have some great dancers among our students and it was fun to see the majority of them “show off” their talents. I always enjoy these events to allow them these opportunities to just have some fun! Lastly, our 8th graders had their HSPT exams on Sunday. I am sure they did well as I know that many spent a lot of time preparing for them.
This week is our last week in October! As a reminder we have a half day (12:30PM dismissal) this Wednesday, October 29th for parent-teacher conferences. On Friday we will be celebrating Halloween. An instant alert will be sent out with more information. Finally, this is the last week for STAR testing for those students who need to make them up. I hope you have a wonderful week and remember to change your clocks back on Saturday!
God Bless!
Sincerely,
Caroline Fitzgerald, MA Eds.
